Train to Busan: A Film Beyond the Zombie Genre

Introduction

"Train to Busan," a Korean zombie film released in 2016, garnered immense        popularity worldwide.
This movie transcends the typical framework of zombie films, delivering           profound messages about family and human nature. I would like to introduce   the intriguing storyline of "Train to Busan."

Plot Summary

The film starts with the protagonist, Seok-woo, boarding a train to Busan with   his daughter, Su-an. However, once the train departs, a zombie virus begins to  spread rapidly, causing the situation to deteriorate quickly.
The train is soon filled with chaos and terror, and Seok-woo must fight            desperately to protect his daughter. Throughout this ordeal, various conflicts and collaborations among the characters unfold, revealing human nature and the     instinct for survival.

Main Characters

The main characters include Seok-woo, Su-an, and several other passengers.
Seok-woo, a father raising his daughter alone after divorcing his wife, initially    appears selfish and indifferent. However, as the situation worsens, he gradually   transforms into a devoted father determined to protect his daughter.
Su-an, a pure and lovable character, highlights the importance of family through her relationship with her father.
The film also features various other characters, each with their own stories,       whose interactions and conflicts deepen the narrative.

Themes

The central themes of "Train to Busan" are survival and humanity.
In the extreme circumstance of a zombie outbreak, people reveal their true       nature, with selfish actions and self-sacrificial deeds intersecting. The movie     uses these conflicts to pose questions about the essence of human nature.
Additionally, it emphasizes the importance of family and the power of love,       showcasing the instinct to protect one another even in the face of crisis.

Personal Reflection

After watching the movie, I had many thoughts. What began as a simple zombie film turned out to be deeply impressive due to its profound messages about     family, love, and human nature. The relationship between Seok-woo and Su-an particularly touched many viewers, and their efforts to protect each other          amidst the crisis resonated with many.
"Train to Busan" goes beyond being merely an entertainment film; it delivers a  powerful message.
I highly recommend it to not only those interested in zombie films but also to   anyone who wants to appreciate the importance of family. Through this movie,  I hope you also get a chance to reflect on your relationships with your loved    ones.

Conclusion

While "Train to Busan" is already an excellent piece, watching it multiple times   and from different perspectives can provide an even richer experience. I          strongly encourage everyone to watch it at least once!
